1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1701
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1701 by inserting
3 immediately above Section 900 the following:
4 "Section 165. Upon the payment of the sum of $1.00 to
5 the State of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set
6 forth in Section 900 of this Act, the Secretary of
7 Transportation is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all
8 right, title and interest in and to the following described
9 land in Madison County, Illinois, to the City of Wood River:
10 Parcel No. 800XA81:
11 Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 5
12 North, Range 9 West of the Third Principal Meridian,
13 Madison County, Illinois, more particularly described as
14 follows:
15 Commencing at a concrete monument found at the Northeast
16 Corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 5
17 North, Range 9 West of the Third Principal Meridian;
18 thence South 87 degrees 14 minutes 40 seconds West along
19 the north line of said Southwest Quarter, 1,283.30 feet;
20 thence South 14 degrees 19 minutes 59 seconds West,
21 376.08 feet; thence South 04 degrees 04 minutes 04

1 seconds West, 100.12 feet; thence South 21 degrees 38
2 minutes 19 seconds West, 413.55 feet; thence South 06
3 degrees 48 minutes 21 seconds West, 320.28 feet; thence
4 North 43 degrees 52 minutes 25 seconds West, 195.98 feet;
5 thence North 39 degrees 36 minutes 52 seconds West,
6 187.79 feet; thence South 15 degrees 25 minutes 21
7 seconds West, 268.97 feet to the Point of Beginning.
8 From said Point of Beginning; thence South 58 degrees 57
9 minutes 27 seconds East, 145.70 feet; thence South 31
10 degrees 02 minutes 33 seconds West, 100.00 feet to the
11 existing northerly right of way line of FA Route 310;
12 thence North 58 degrees 57 minutes 27 seconds West along
13 said right of way line, 117.74 feet; thence North 15
14 degrees 25 minutes 21 seconds East, 103.83 feet to the
15 Point of Beginning.
16 Parcel 800XA81 herein described contains 13,172.00 sq.
17 ft. (0.302 acre).
18 Bearings are based on Illinois State Plane Coordinate
19 System, West Zone (NAD 27).
20 Exception:
21 Direct access to FA Route 310 will be prohibited. Direct
22 access will be permitted to Illinois Route 143 westerly
23 of Station 163+60.50 and also to the relocated Old Alton-
24 Edwardsville Road.".
