 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1680

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1680 as follows:

 3    by replacing the title of the bill with the following:

 4        "AN ACT in relation to real property."; and

 5    by replacing everything after the enacting  clause  with  the
 6    following:

 7        "Section  5.  The  Code  of Civil Procedure is amended by
 8    adding Sections 7-103.97, 7-103.98, 7-103.99, 7-103.100,  and
 9    7-103.101 as follows:

10        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.97 new)
11        Sec.  7-103.97.  Quick-take;  Village  of  Dolton;  flood
12    control   and  traffic  flow.  Quick-take  proceedings  under
13    Section 7-103 may be used for a period of 2 years  after  the
14    effective  date  of  this  amendatory Act of the 91st General
15    Assembly by the Village of Dolton for the acquisition of  the
16    following  described  property  necessary  for the purpose of
17    flood control and traffic flow in an area in the  Village  of
18    Dolton,  bounded  by 149th Street on the north, Sibley on the
19    south, Woodlawn on the east,  and  Greenwood  Avenue  on  the

 8        other  minerals  underlying  the   same   as   previously

 8    Quick-take  proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a
 9    period of 3 years after July 1, 2000 1997, by the Village  of
10    Elmwood   Park  to  be  used  only  for  the  acquisition  of
11    commercially zoned property within the area designated as the
12    Tax Increment Redevelopment Project Area by ordinance  passed
