 1        AN ACT in relation to real property.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Code  of  Civil Procedure is amended by
 5    adding Sections 7-103.97, 7-103.98, 7-103.99, 7-103.100,  and
 6    7-103.101 as follows:

 7        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.97 new)
 8        Sec.  7-103.97.  Quick-take;  Village  of  Dolton;  flood
 9    control   and  traffic  flow.  Quick-take  proceedings  under
10    Section 7-103 may be used for a period of 2 years  after  the
11    effective  date  of  this  amendatory Act of the 91st General
12    Assembly by the Village of Dolton for the acquisition of  the
13    following  described  property  necessary  for the purpose of
14    flood control and traffic flow in an area in the  Village  of
15    Dolton,  bounded  by 149th Street on the north, Sibley on the
16    south, Woodlawn on the east,  and  Greenwood  Avenue  on  the
17    west:
18        All of Lot 7 and the North 409.50 feet of the South 659.5
19    feet  of Lots 5 and 6, in the Bernahard Engels Subdivision of
20    the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 (except the  Railroad)  and
21    (except  the  Southwest  1/4  of  the  Southeast  1/4  of the
22    Northwest 1/4 of Section 11, Township  36  North,  Range  14,
23    East  of  the  Third  Principal  Meridian,  in  Cook  County,

17        Sec. 7-103.101. Quick-take; City  of  Benton.  Quick-take
18    proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a period of 2
19    years  after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
20    91st  General  Assembly  by  the  City  of  Benton  for   the
21    acquisition of the following described property necessary for
22    the purpose of extending or otherwise improving South DuQuoin
23    Street in that city:
24             (1)  The  South Ninety (90) feet of Lot Three (3) in
25        Mulkey's Addition to Benton, Illinois, except  the  South
26        40  feet of said Lot 3, and except the coal, oil, gas and
27        other  minerals  underlying  the   same   as   previously
28        reserved.  (Said lot being 50 feet North and South by 162
29        feet  East  and West.)  Subject to easement for repairing
30        and maintaining water and sewer lines between  the  North
31        half and South half of said Lot 3.
32             (2)  Lot  Four  (4) in Mulkey's Addition to the City
33        of Benton, Illinois, except a strip four  (4)  feet  wide

25    7-103.114, 7-103.115, 7-103.116, and 7-103.117 as follows:

26        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.53)
27        Sec.  7-103.53.  Quick-take;  Village  of  Elmwood  Park.
28    Quick-take  proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a
29    period of 3 years after July 1, 2000 1997, by the Village  of
30    Elmwood   Park  to  be  used  only  for  the  acquisition  of
31    commercially zoned property within the area designated as the
32    Tax Increment Redevelopment Project Area by ordinance  passed

12    may  be  used  to acquire real property, including fee simple
13    and temporary and permanent easements, for the Olympian Drive
14    construction and reconstruction project for a  period  of  36
15    months after the effective date of this amendatory act of the
16    91st  General  Assembly  by  the  City of Champaign or by the
17    County of Champaign for acquisition of  any  portion  of  the
18    following described property:
19        Land  lying  within a corridor bounded by a line 200 feet
20    on either side of the existing line of Olympian  Drive  (also
21    known  as  TR151)  between Mattis Avenue and Market Avenue in
22    Hensley Township in Champaign County;  and  also  land  lying
23    within  a  corridor bounded by a line 200 feet on either side
24    of the center line of Mattis Avenue, Farber  Drive,  Prospect
25    Avenue,  Neil  Street  (extended),  and  Market  Street for a
26    distance of 1,000 feet north and south  of  the  right-of-way
