1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1658
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1658, AS AMENDED,
3 in Section 10 of the bill by inserting immediately below the
4 last line of Sec. 107a.03 the following:
5 "The State of Illinois, a unit of local government or
6 school district, or association or instrumentality thereof,
7 or an intergovernmental risk management association,
8 self-insurance pool or self-administered health and accident
9 cooperative or pool shall not be deemed an "employer" or
10 "pool" for the purpose of this Article."; and
11 in Section 10 of the bill, in Sec. 107a.06, in item (1) of
12 subsection (c), by deleting "and fees to be charged"; and
13 in Section 10 of the bill, in Sec. 107a.13, in the first
14 sentence of subsection (c), by changing "securities has been"
15 to "securities, if any, has been"; and
16 in Section 10 of the bill, in Sec. 107a.14, in the first
17 sentence of subsection (b) by changing "group" each time it
18 appears to "qualified group"; and
19 in Section 10 of the bill, in Sec. 107a.14, in the second
20 sentence of subsection (b) by changing "of the group" to "of
21 the qualified group"; and

1 in Section 10 of the bill, in Sec. 107a.14, in the third
2 sentence of subsection (b) by changing "declared a" to
3 "declared a qualified"; and
4 in Section 10 of the bill, in Sec. 107a.14, in the third
5 sentence of subsection (b) by changing "from all" to "from
6 all qualified"; and
7 in Section 10 of the bill, in Sec. 107a.14, in the fourth
8 sentence of subsection (b) by changing "group" to "qualified
9 group".
