1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2214
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 2214, AS AMENDED,
3 by inserting after the end of Article 10 the following:
4 "ARTICLE 15
5 Section 15-5. "An Act concerning real property",
6 approved August 6, 1999, Public Act 91-459, is amended by
7 changing Section 5-5 as follows:
8 (Public Act 91-459, Sec. 5-5)
9 Sec. 5-5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 and other
10 good and valuable consideration, pursuant to and conditioned
11 upon the execution of an intergovernmental agreement entered
12 into by the Department of Human Services and the Village of
13 Tinley Park, to the State of Illinois and the tender by the
14 Village of Tinley Park of a certified survey of the land
15 described in this Section, current within 6 months, the
16 Secretary of Human Services must is authorized to convey by
17 quitclaim deed, subject to the condition that should the
18 property conveyed under this Section ever not be used by the
19 grantee for public purposes, then title shall revert to the
20 State of Illinois without further action on the part of the
21 State, to the Village of Tinley Park all right, title, and

1 interest in and to the land in Cook County, Illinois commonly
2 known as:
3 THAT PART OF THE WEST 1900 FEET OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER
4 OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 36 NORTH, RANGE 12 EAST OF THE
5 THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN LYING SOUTHERLY OF THE SOUTHERLY
6 RIGHT OF WAY OF THE CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC
7 RAILROAD (COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE METRALINE) AND LYING
8 NORTHERLY OF THE NORTHERN TRIBUTARY TO THE UNION DRAINAGE
9 DITCH (EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PART, IF ANY, TAKEN FOR
10 80TH AVENUE), IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AND CONTAINING 56
11 ACRES.
12 The legal description of the land that appears in the
13 quitclaim deed shall conform to the survey required under
14 this Section.".
