1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4344
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 4344 on page 1,
3 line 6 by deleting "3-104,"; and
4 on page 1, by replacing lines 11 through 13 with the
5 following:
6 "least 25 years of age and of a model year after 1948 or a
7 vehicle that has been certified by an inspector of the
8 National Street Rod Association, on a form prescribed by the
9 Secretary of State, to be a custom vehicle manufactured to
10 resemble a vehicle at least 25 years of age and of a model
11 year after 1948 and has been"; and
12 on page 1, by replacing lines 21 and 22 with the following:
13 "1948 or older vehicle or a vehicle that has been certified
14 by an inspector of the National Street Rod Association, on a
15 form prescribed by the Secretary of State, to be a street rod
16 that was manufactured after 1948 to resemble a vehicle that
17 was manufactured before"; and
18 by deleting lines 29 and 30 on page 1, all of pages 2 through
19 4, and lines 1 through 10 on page 5; and
20 on page 6, by replacing line 33 with the following:
21 "cycle, or pedalcycle, and obtain a custom vehicle plate. An
22 applicant for the special plate shall be charged, in addition

1 to the standard registration fee, $15 for original issuance
2 to be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License
3 Plate Fund, to be used by the Secretary to help defray
4 administrative costs. For each renewal period, in addition to
5 the standard registration fee, the applicant shall be charged
6 $2, which shall be deposited into the Secretary of State
7 Special License Plate Fund. The"; and
8 on page 7, by replacing lines 9 through 11 with the
9 following:
10 "generally, as provided in Section 3-414.1. Any person
11 requesting custom"; and
12 on page 7, by replacing line 31 with the following:
13 "pedalcycle, and obtain a street rod plate. An applicant for
14 the special plate shall be charged, in addition to the
15 standard registration fee, $15 for original issuance to be
16 deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate
17 Fund, to be used by the Secretary to help defray
18 administrative costs. For each renewal period, in addition to
19 the standard registration fee, the applicant shall be charged
20 $2, which shall be deposited into the Secretary of State
21 Special License Plate Fund. The application"; and
22 on page 8, by replacing lines 7 and 8 with the following:
