Amend House Bill 3610, AS AMENDED, 3 as follows: 4 by replacing the title with the following: 5 "AN ACT concerning real property."; and 6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the 7 following: 8 "Section 5. Conveyance of real property to Maryville 9 Academy. 10 (a) Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State of 11 Illinois, the Director of Central Management Services is 12 authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and 13 interest of the State of Illinois in and to the following 14 described real property in Cook County, Illinois to the 15 Maryville Academy of Chicago, Illinois: 16 Buildings A and B of the former Henry Horner School 17 property on Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. 18 (b) The conveyance described in subsection (a) of this 19 Section shall be on the condition that if the Maryville 20 Academy ceases to use the conveyed property, title to that 21 property shall revert to the State of Illinois. -2- LRB9112590STsbam 1 Section 10. Conveyance of real property to New Horizon 2 Center. 3 (a) Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State of 4 Illinois, the Director of Central Management Services is 5 authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and 6 interest of the State of Illinois in and to the following 7 described real property in Cook County, Illinois to the New 8 Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled: 9 Up to 5 acres of the former Henry Horner School property 10 on Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, to be mutually 11 agreed upon between New Horizon Center for the 12 Developmentally Disabled and the State of Illinois. 13 (b) The conveyance described in subsection (a) of this 14 Section shall be on the condition that if the New Horizon 15 Center for the Developmentally Disabled ceases to use the 16 conveyed property, title to that property shall revert to the 17 State of Illinois. 18 Section 15. Recording. The Director of Central 19 Management Services shall obtain a certified copy of the 20 portions of this Act containing the title, the enacting 21 clause, the effective date, the appropriate Sections 22 containing the land descriptions of property to be 23 transferred, and this Section within 60 days after the 24 effective date of this Act and, upon receipt of payment 25 required by the appropriate Sections of this Act, shall 26 record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the 27 county in which the land is located. 28 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 29 becoming law.".
