91_HB3610eng HB3610 Engrossed LRB9112590JMmb 1 AN ACT concerning real property. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. Conveyance of real property to Maryville 5 Academy. 6 (a) Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State of 7 Illinois, the Director of Central Management Services is 8 authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and 9 interest of the State of Illinois in and to the following 10 described real property in Cook County, Illinois to the 11 Maryville Academy of Chicago, Illinois: 12 Buildings A and B of the former Henry Horner School 13 property on Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. 14 (b) The conveyance described in subsection (a) of this 15 Section shall be on the condition that if the Maryville 16 Academy ceases to use the conveyed property, title to that 17 property shall revert to the State of Illinois. 18 Section 10. Conveyance of real property to New Horizon 19 Center. 20 (a) Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State of 21 Illinois, the Director of Central Management Services is 22 authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and 23 interest of the State of Illinois in and to the following 24 described real property in Cook County, Illinois to the New 25 Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled: 26 Up to 5 acres of the former Henry Horner School property 27 on Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, to be mutually 28 agreed upon between New Horizon Center for the 29 Developmentally Disabled and the State of Illinois. 30 (b) The conveyance described in subsection (a) of this 31 Section shall be on the condition that if the New Horizon HB3610 Engrossed -2- LRB9112590JMmb 1 Center for the Developmentally Disabled ceases to use the 2 conveyed property, title to that property shall revert to the 3 State of Illinois. 4 Section 15. Recording. The Director of Central 5 Management Services shall obtain a certified copy of the 6 portions of this Act containing the title, the enacting 7 clause, the effective date, the appropriate Sections 8 containing the land descriptions of property to be 9 transferred, and this Section within 60 days after the 10 effective date of this Act and, upon receipt of payment 11 required by the appropriate Sections of this Act, shall 12 record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the 13 county in which the land is located. 14 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 15 becoming law.
