1 AN ACT to amend the Higher Education Student Assistance
2 Act by changing Section 91.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Higher Education Student Assistance Act
6 is amended by changing Section 91 as follows:
7 (110 ILCS 947/91)
8 Sec. 91. Notice of default to Secretary of State. The
9 Commission shall establish by rule mutually agreed procedures
10 to furnish the Secretary of State annually or at other
11 mutually agreed periodic intervals with the names and social
12 security numbers of natural persons who the Commission
13 determines are registered with the Secretary of State as
14 dealers, salespersons or investment advisers under the
15 Illinois Securities Law of 1953 and have defaulted on an
16 educational loan guaranteed by the Commission.
