Amends the School Code to delete obsolete language in a
section dealing with the adoption of medications policies by
school boards. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT to amend the Scool Code by changing Section
2 10-20.14b.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 1. The School Code is amended by changing Section
6 10-20.14b as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/10-20.14b) (from Ch. 122, par. 10-20.14b)
8 Sec. 10-20.14b. Advisory committee; Medications policy.
9 To establish and maintain a parent-teacher advisory committee
10 for the 1990-91 school year To develop with the school board,
11 a policy guidelines for administration of medications in
12 schools, to furnish a copy of the policy to the parents or
13 guardians of each pupil within 15 days after the beginning of
14 the 1991-92 school year and each school year thereafter, or
15 within 15 days after starting classes for a pupil who
16 transfers into the district during the 1991-92 school year
17 and each school year thereafter, and to require that each
18 school informs its pupils of the contents of its policy.
