Full-time legislator; former educator and college counselor at CPS; B.S. in urban planning, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; member of the Chicago Teachers Union, member of Local School Council for the Back of the Yards High School; volunteer soccer coach and lifelong resident of the Gage Park neighborhood in Chicago.
