Amend Senate Bill 155 as follows: 3 on page 3, line 16, by changing "Section 2.5" to "Sections 4 2.5 and 2.6"; and 5 on page 4, line 10, by inserting after "needles." the 6 following: 7 "This subsection (b) is inoperative after January 1, 2006."; 8 and 9 on page 5, line 5, by inserting after "pharmacy." the 10 following: 11 "This subsection (b) is inoperative after January 1, 2006."; 12 and 13 on page 5, by inserting between lines 22 and 23 the 14 following: 15 "(720 ILCS 635/2.6 new) 16 Sec. 2.6. Study of the effects of amendatory changes on 17 the reduction in Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) 18 and hepatitis B. The Department of Public Health shall 19 conduct a study on the effects of this amendatory Act of the 20 92nd General Assembly on the reduction in the incidents of -2- LRB9204559RCcdam01 1 Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and hepatitis B and 2 shall report its findings and recommendations to the Governor 3 and the General Assembly by January 1, 2005.".
