1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5844
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 5844 on page 2, by
3 replacing line 18 with the following:
4 "Except when the federal or State statutes authorizing a
5 program, or the federal regulations implementing a program,
6 are to the contrary,"; and
7 on page 3, line 26, by replacing "adopt" with "develop
8 standards or promulgate"; and
9 on page 4, line 7, after the period, by inserting the
10 following:
11 "The Department reserves the right to monitor a provider of
12 mental health and substance abuse treatment services when the
13 survey or inspection of an accrediting organization has
14 established any deficiency in the accreditation standards and
15 processes.".
