1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3149
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3149 on page 6, by
3 replacing lines 12 through 15 with the following:
4 "(d) The county clerk shall not be required to provide
5 additional forms to any deputy registrar having more than 500
6 200 registration forms unaccounted for during the preceding
7 12 month period, excluding voided forms."; and
8 by replacing line 28 on page 6 through line 2 on page 7 with
9 the following:
10 "that application, after having made a record of it, to the
11 county clerk or board of election commissioners of the other
12 election jurisdiction within 3 business days after accepting
13 it. The county clerk or board of election commissioners
14 receiving the transmitted application shall treat the
15 application as if it"; and
16 on page 7, by replacing lines 7 and 8 with "election."; and
17 on page 12, by replacing lines 12 through 15 with the
18 following:
19 "(d) The county clerk shall not be required to provide
20 additional forms to any deputy registrar having more than 500
21 200 registration forms unaccounted for during the preceding
22 12 month period, excluding voided forms."; and

7 commissioners receiving the transmitted application shall
8 treat the application as if it"; and
9 on page 13, by replacing lines 7 and 8 with "election."; and
10 on page 18, by replacing lines 14 through 17 with the
11 following;
12 "(d) The board of election commissioners shall not be
13 required to provide additional forms to any deputy registrar
14 having more than 500 200 registration forms unaccounted for
15 during the preceding 12 month period, excluding voided
16 forms."; and
17 by replacing line 30 on page 18 through line 4 on page 19
18 with the following:
19 "in this State and must forward that application, after
20 having made a record of it, to the county clerk or board of
21 election commissioners of the other election jurisdiction
22 within 3 business days after accepting it. The county clerk
23 or board of election commissioners receiving the transmitted
24 application shall treat the application"; and
25 on page 19, by replacing lines 9 and 10 with "in the next
26 ensuing election.".
