1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2426
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2426, AS AMENDED,
3 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
4 following:
5 "Section 5. The Emergency Telephone System Act is
6 amended by adding Section 2.20 as follows:
7 (50 ILCS 750/2.20 new)
8 Sec. 2.20. Private branch exchange. "Private branch
9 exchange" or "PBX" means a private telephone system and
10 associated equipment located on the user's property that
11 provides communications between internal stations and
12 external networks.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.".
