PEN CD-IMRF-RETRO SERVICE                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the IMRF Article of the Illinois Pension  Code  to  remove      
   the   50-month  limitation  on  establishing  credit  for  retroactive      
   service.  Amends the State  Mandates  Act  to  require  implementation      
   without reimbursement.  Effective immediately.                              
          PENSION NOTE (Pension Laws Commission)                               
          The fiscal impact cannot be determined, as the amount of             
          service credit that will be purchased is unknown. Since the          
          the bill requires only employee contributions, plus interest,        
          there will be a fiscal impact.
