Provides that the Department of Human Services shall implement an evaluation of abstinence education programs funded under the 1996 Social Security Act. Provides that the evaluation shall be used to determine the effects of the programs on the youths who participate in them. Provides that the Department shall submit annual progress reports to the General Assembly. FISCAL NOTE (Department of Human Services) Estimated cost ranges between $400,000 and $600,000. STATE MANDATES NOTE (Dept. of Commerce and Community Affairs) Does not create a State mandate.
