The following named sums, or so much thereof 5 as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and 6 purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to meet the 7 ordinary and contingent expenses of the Illinois Arts 8 Council: 9 Payable from the General Revenue Fund: 10 For Personal Services ........................ $ 1,027,500 11 For Employee Retirement Contributions 12 Paid by Employer ............................ 41,100 13 For State Contributions to State 14 Employees' Retirement Contributions ......... 99,800 15 For State Contributions to 16 Social Security ............................. 78,600 17 For Contractual Services ..................... 129,600 18 For Travel ................................... 25,300 19 For Commodities .............................. 10,400 20 For Printing ................................. 48,200 21 For Equipment ................................ 2,000 22 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 21,300 23 For Telecommunications Services .............. 28,100 24 For Travel and Meeting Expenses of 25 Arts Council and Panel Members .............. 44,200 26 Total $1,526,100 27 Section 2. The following named sums, or so much thereof 28 as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and 29 purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Illinois 30 Arts Council to enhance the cultural environment in Illinois: 31 Payable from General Revenue Fund: SB616 Engrossed -2- BOB-Arts2000 1 For Grants and Financial Assistance for 2 Arts Organizations .......................... $6,250,000 3 For Grants and Financial Assistance for 4 Special Constituencies ...................... 2,272,100 5 For Grants and Financial Assistance for 6 Arts Education .............................. 1,157,500 7 Total $9,679,600 8 Payable from Illinois Arts Council 9 Federal Grant Fund: 10 For Grants and Programs to Enhance 11 the Cultural Environment ......................$ 700,000 12 Section 3. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 14 Fund to the Illinois Arts Council for the purpose of funding 15 administrative and grant expenses associated with humanities 16 programs and related activities. 17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 18 1, 1999.
