Amend Senate Bill 602, by replacing 3 the title with the following: 4 "AN ACT regarding appropriations."; and by replacing 5 everything after the enacting clause with the following: 6 "Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much 7 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects 8 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the 9 General Revenue Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent 10 expenses of the Prairie State 2000 Authority: 11 For Personal Services ........................ $ 275,900 12 For Employee Retirement Contributions 13 Paid by Employer............................. 11,100 14 For State Contributions to State 15 Employees' Retirement System................. 26,500 16 For State Contributions to 17 Social Security ............................. 20,900 18 For Contractual Services ..................... 191,900 19 For Travel ................................... 19,700 20 For Commodities .............................. 3,000 21 For Printing ................................. 2,500 22 For Equipment ................................ 2,000 -2- SRA91SB0602MJcpam01 1 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 9,100 2 For Telecommunications Services .............. 8,500 3 Total $571,100 4 Section 2. The amount of $1,256,200, or so much thereof 5 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 6 Fund to the Prairie State 2000 Authority for tuition and 7 educational fee vouchers on behalf of individuals. 8 Section 3. The amount of $2,317,500, new appropriation, 9 is appropriated, and the amount of $2,353,100, or so much 10 thereof as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the 11 close of business on June 30, 1998 from the appropriation and 12 reappropriation heretofore made in Public Act 90-10, Article 13 79, Section 3, approved July 1, 1997, is reappropriated from 14 the General Revenue Fund to the Prairie State 2000 Authority 15 for training grants and loans to eligible employers. 16 Section 9999. Effective date. This Act takes effect 17 July 1, 1999.".
