BOB-PS2000-2000
1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
6 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
7 General Revenue Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent
8 expenses of the Prairie State 2000 Authority:
9 For Personal Services ........................ $ 291,100
10 For Employee Retirement Contributions
11 Paid by Employer............................. 11,600
12 For State Contributions to State
13 Employees' Retirement System................. 28,500
14 For State Contributions to
15 Social Security ............................. 22,000
16 For Contractual Services ..................... 191,900
17 For Travel ................................... 19,700
18 For Commodities .............................. 3,000
19 For Printing ................................. 2,500
20 For Equipment ................................ 2,000
21 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 9,100
22 For Telecommunications Services .............. 11,400
23 Total $592,800
24 Section 2. The amount of $1,256,200, or so much thereof
25 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
26 Fund to the Prairie State 2000 Authority for tuition and
27 educational fee vouchers on behalf of individuals.
28 Section 3a. The amount of $2,317,500, new appropriation,
29 is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Prairie
30 State 2000 Authority for training grants and loans to

1 eligible employers.
2 Section 3b. The amount of $1,738,100, or so much thereof
3 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
4 business on June 30, 1999, from the appropriation heretofore
5 made in Public Act 90-0585, Article 75, Section 3, approved
6 June 4, 1998, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund
7 to the Prairie State 2000 Authority for training grants and
8 loans to eligible employers entered into during the 1999
9 fiscal year.
10 Section 3c. The amount of $581,200, or so much thereof
11 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
12 business on June 30, 1999, from the reappropriation made in
13 Public Act 90-10, Article 79, Section 3, approved July 1,
14 1997, is reappropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
15 Prairie State 2000 Authority from training grants and loans
16 to eligible employers entered into prior to the 1999 fiscal
17 year.
18 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
19 July 1, 1999.
