1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 584
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 584 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
6 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
7 General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western
8 Illinois University to meet the ordinary and contingent
9 expenses of Western Illinois University for the fiscal year
10 ending June 30, 2000:
11 For Personal Services, including
12 payment to the University for
13 personal services costs incurred
14 during the fiscal year....................... $ 45,499,000
15 For State Contributions to
16 Social Security.............................. 150,000
17 For Contractual Services...................... 1,853,000
18 For Travel.................................... 88,000
19 For Commodities............................... 350,000
20 For Equipment and Library
21 Books........................................ 1,091,000
22 For Telecommunication
23 Services..................................... 141,000

2 Equipment.................................... 18,000
3 For Repairs, Maintenance, and
4 other Capital Improvements................... 146,900
5 For Awards and Grants and

8 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
9 thereof as may be necessary for the object and purpose
10 hereinafter named, is appropriated from the Education
11 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western Illinois
12 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of
13 Western Illinois University for the fiscal year ending June
14 30, 2000:
15 For Personal Services, including payment
16 to the University for personal services
17 costs incurred during the fiscal year...........$8,500,000
18 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
19 1, 1999.".
