1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 371
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 371, by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT regarding appropriations."; and by replacing
5 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
6 "Section 5. The following named amount, or so much
7 thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose hereinafter
8 named, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
9 Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to meet the
10 ordinary and contingent expenses of the University:
11 For Personal Services, including
12 payment to the University for personal
13 services costs incurred during the 1999
14 fiscal year and salaries accrued but
15 unpaid to academic personnel for
16 personal services rendered during the
17 fiscal year 1998 academic year.................$40,693,500
18 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
19 thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose hereinafter
20 named, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to
21 the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to meet

1 the ordinary and contingent expenses of the University:
2 For Personal Services, including payment
3 to the University for personal services
4 costs incurred during the 1999 fiscal
5 year and salaries accrued but unpaid to
6 academic personnel for personal services
7 rendered during the fiscal year
8 1998 academic year.............................$ 4,014,300
9 Section 15. The following named amount, or so much
10 thereof as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the
11 close of business on June 30, 1998, from a reappropriation
12 heretofore made for such purpose in Article 94, Section 22.3
13 of Public Act 90-10, is reappropriated from the Capital
14 Development Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois
15 University for the project hereinafter enumerated:

17 For purchasing Buzzard Building
18 equipment................................... $666,470
19 Section 9999. Effective date. This Act takes effect
20 July 1, 1999.".
