1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 371
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 371 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The following named amount, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose hereinafter
6 named, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
7 Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to meet the
8 ordinary and contingent expenses of the University:
9 For Personal Services, including payment to the
10 University for personal services costs
11 incurred during the 2000 fiscal year and
12 salaries accrued but unpaid to academic
13 personnel for personal services rendered
14 during the fiscal year 1999 academic year... $41,370,900
15 Total $41,370,900
16 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
17 thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose hereinafter
18 named, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to
19 the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to meet
20 the ordinary and contingent expenses of the University:
21 For Personal Services, including payment to the
22 University for personal services costs

2 salaries accrued but unpaid to academic

4 during the fiscal year 1999 academic year... $6,300,000
5 Total $6,300,000
6 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
7 1, 1999.".
