1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 180
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 180 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:
4 "AN ACT in regard to public health."; and
5 on page 1, line 6, by inserting "and by adding Section
6 55.69a" after "55.69"; and
7 on page 1, by inserting above line 7 the following:
8 "(20 ILCS 2310/55.56a new)
9 Sec. 55.56a. AIDS awareness; senior citizens. The
10 Department must include within its public health promotion
11 programs and materials information targeted to persons 50
12 years of age and more concerning the dangers of HIV and AIDS
13 and sexually transmitted diseases."; and
14 on page 2, by inserting below line 28 the following:
15 "Section 10. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by
16 adding Section 4.11 as follows:
17 (20 ILCS 105/4.11 new)
18 Sec. 4.11. AIDS awareness. The Department must develop
19 health programs and materials targeted to persons 50 years of

2 sexually transmitted diseases.".
