1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 43
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 43, AS AMENDED, by
3 replacing the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT in relation to health care."; and
5 in Section 5, Sec. 55.92, subsec. (e), by replacing "trails"
6 with "trials"; and
7 in Section 10, in the introductory clause, by replacing
8 "Sections 5.490 and 5.491" with "Sections 5.490, 5.491,
9 5.492, and 6z-12.5"; and
10 in Section 10, below Sec. 5.491, by inserting the following:
11 "(30 ILCS 105/5.492 new)
12 Sec. 5.492. The Health Care Administrative Services
13 Medicaid Matching Fund.
14 (30 ILCS 105/6z-12.5 new)
15 Sec. 6z-12.5. Health Care Administrative Services
16 Medicaid Matching Fund. There is created a special fund in
17 the State treasury known as the Health Care Administrative
18 Services Medicaid Matching Fund. Deposits into this Fund
19 shall consist of all moneys received from the federal
20 government for administrative services provided by the

1 Chicago Department of Health in connection with health care
2 services rendered under Title XIX of the Social Security Act,
3 42 CFR Part 441.
4 The Fund shall be appropriated to the Illinois Department
5 of Public Aid for payments to the Chicago Department of
6 Health for administrative Medicaid services according to the
7 interagency agreement executed by the Illinois Department of
8 Public Aid and the Chicago Department of Health.".
