1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1688
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1688 on page 2,
3 line 1, by replacing "natural" with "nature preserve"; and
4 on page 3, by replacing lines 32 and 33 with the following:
5 "sign is erected. The right to just compensation as provided
6 in this Article applies to property subject to a conservation
7 right under the Real Property Conservation Rights Act. The
8 amount of compensation for the taking of the property shall
9 not be diminished or reduced by virtue of the existence of
10 the conservation right. The holder of the conservation right
11 shall be entitled to just compensation for the value of the
12 conservation right."; and
13 on page 4, by deleting lines 1 through 15; and
14 on page 4, line 31, by deleting "farmed"; and
15 on page 6, by replacing lines 18 through 28 with the
16 following:
17 "The holder of a grant pursuant to this Act shall not be
18 required to record any instrument subsequent to the recording
19 of the grant in order to maintain or continue the validity of
20 the grant."; and
21 on page 6, by deleting lines 33 and 34; and
