91_HB0934eng HB0934 Engrossed LRB9103228SMdv 1 AN ACT regarding support, amending named Acts. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of 5 Marriage Act is amended by adding Section 505.3 as follows: 6 (750 ILCS 5/505.3 new) 7 Sec. 505.3. Pro se petitions for support and support 8 enforcement. The circuit court may provide, through the 9 office of the clerk of the circuit court, simplified forms 10 and clerical assistance to help with the drafting, 11 preparation, and filing of a petition seeking to establish or 12 enforce a child support order by any person not represented 13 by counsel. 14 Section 10. The Illinois Parentage Act of 1984 is 15 amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows: 16 (750 ILCS 45/7.5 new) 17 Sec. 7.5. Pro se petitions to establish parentage and 18 support. The circuit court may provide, through the office 19 of the clerk of the circuit court, simplified forms and 20 clerical assistance to help with the drafting, preparation, 21 and filing of an action to determine the existence of the 22 father and child relationship, and a petition to establish or 23 enforce a child support order by any person not represented 24 by counsel.
