Provides that a manufacturer and a distributor or importing distributor may enter into a written agreement for the manufacturer to sell to the distributor or importing distributor certain signs or inside advertising materials. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (Liquor Control Commission) No fiscal impact on the Commission. STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE In the opinion of DCCA, HB903 fails to create a State mandate. Provides that a distributor or importing distributor may purchase from or enter into a written agreement with a manufacturer or a manufacturer's designated supplier and such manufacturer or the manufacturer's designated supplier may sell or agree to sell to a distributor or importing distributor certain signs or advertising materials for the purpose of providing those signs to any retail licensee in this State. Amends the Beer Industry Fair Dealing Act. Provides that no brewer shall terminate an agreement with a wholesaler on the basis that the wholesaler refuses to purchase signs or advertising materials. Provides that no brewer shall discriminate against a wholesaler who has entered into a contract relative to signs or advertising materials by not making those signs or advertising materials available to the wholesaler when the brewer makes such signs or advertising materials available to other similarly situated wholesalers in the State.
