    AN ACT regarding appropriations.

    Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section  1.   The  following named amounts, or so much of
those  amounts  as  may  be  necessary,   respectively,   are
appropriated  to  the  State Comptroller to pay amounts owing
upon the death of Senator Harry "Babe" Woodyard:

For Salary ..................................... $     90,159
For additional amounts as Chairman of the
  Senate Executive Appointments Committee ......       13,726
Total ..........................................     $103,885

    Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
becoming law.
