AN ACT concerning State commemorative dates.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
adding Section 31 as follows:
|
(5 ILCS 490/31 new)
|
Sec. 31. Great Grandparents Day. The first Sunday after |
Labor Day of each year is designated as Great Grandparents Day |
to encourage the citizens of Illinois to honor and celebrate |
great grandparents throughout the State.
