MINIMUM ENERGY EFFICIENCY                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Creates the Minimum Energy Efficiency  Standards  Act.   Provides      
   for  the  testing, certification, and enforcement of energy efficiency      
   standards for  sales  in  this  State  of  the  listed  new  products.      
   Requires  the  development  of  rules containing testing standards and      
   certification requirements.  Provides for inspections and  enforcement      
   of the standards.
