Provides that it is the General Assembly's intent that, to the extent allowable by law, the Act shall be administered to maximize Medicaid funding for services provided under the Act. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 4. Deletes reference to: 325 ILCS 20/2 Adds reference to: New Act Deletes everything. Creates the Internet Access for Minors at Public Libraries Act. Requires publicly-supported libraries, within 6 months, to implement a policy that seeks to prevent minor patrons from using a public access computer to access or obtain explicit sexual materials. Provides guidelines for the policy. Requires publicly-supported libraries to file a copy of the policy with the State Librarian. Provides that publicly-supported libraries that fail to implement and file the policy are not eligible to apply for any State grant moneys. Provides that libraries that implement and file the policy are immune from any criminal liability arising from access by a minor to explicit sexual material.
