CRIM CD-DOMESTIC BATT-NOTIFY                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961.  Makes a  technical  change  in      
   the statute relating to domestic battery.                                   
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          720 ILCS 5/12-3.2                                                    
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          725 ILCS 5/112A-22              from Ch. 38, par. 112A-22            
          725 ILCS 5/112A-22.10 new                                            
          750 ILCS 60/222                 from Ch. 40, par. 2312-22            
          750 ILCS 60/222.10 new                                               
        Deletes everything. Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963      
   and the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986. Provides for service        
   of a short form notification of an order of protection instead of           
   service of a copy of the order on the respondent.
