Provides that an employer may not discharge or in any manner discriminate against an employee for taking time off from work to serve as required by law on a grand or petit jury, or for obtaining or attempting to obtain relief as a victim of domestic violence. Also prohibits an employer with 25 or more employees from discharging, discriminating, or retaliating against an employee who is a victim of domestic violence, for taking time off from work to seek medical attention or counseling for injuries or psychological trauma caused by the incident of domestic violence.
