MUNI CD-ZONING-TELECOMMUNICTNS                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Illinois  Municipal  Code.   Deletes   a   provision      
   prohibiting  a  municipality from exercising its zoning powers outside      
   of the corporate limits of the municipality with respect to facilities      
   of telecommunications carriers. Effective immediately.
