ELECTIONS-SENATORS TERMS                                                   

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Election Code.  Makes technical changes in  a  Section      
   defining "City Election Law".                                               
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Deletes reference to:                                                
          10 ILCS 5/6-1                                                        
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          10 ILCS 5/29C-10                                                     
        Deletes everything.  Amends the Election Code.   Sets  the  terms      
   for Senators elected in 2002 through 2010.  Effective immediately.
