1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincerest condolences to the family and friends
4 of Santos Joseph Soliz, who passed away on May 11, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Santos Joseph Soliz was born on September 10,
6 1920 in Sanchez Roman, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Josemaria and
7 Juanita Soliz; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Soliz was a member of the L.O.O.M. #400 and
9 the V.F.W. Post #468; and
10 WHEREAS, The passing of Santos Joseph Soliz will be
11 deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his
12 wife, Lois Soliz; his children, Dan (Maggie) Soliz, Michelle
13 (Lindsey) Podschwit, and Richard (Terri) Soliz; and his
14 grandchildren, Eric Martin, Joseph, Jean, Marianne, Sam,
15 Kevin, and Jamie Soliz; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
17 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
18 all who knew him, the death of Santos Joseph Soliz of Aurora,
19 Illinois; and be it further
20 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21 presented to the family of Santos Joseph Soliz with our
22 sincere condolences.
