92_SR0360 LRB9216427RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Pearle C. "Peg" Donovan, who passed away on March 2, 2002; 5 and 6 WHEREAS, Pearle C. Clark was born on November 12, 1923 in 7 Indianapolis, Indiana, to George and Joyce Clark; and 8 WHEREAS, Pearle Donovan attended Purdue University and 9 served in the United States Army during World War II; and 10 WHEREAS, Pearle Donovan was a member of Our Savior 11 Lutheran Church, the Child Welfare Society and the Pressed 12 Glass Club; she was a board member of the YWCA and a former 13 board member of Plum Landing; and 14 WHEREAS, The passing of Pearle C. Donovan will be deeply 15 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her daughter 16 Jill (Dr. Ronald) Maio; her son Dr. Scott (Debra) Donovan; 17 and her six grandchildren, Andrea Maio, Angela, Tony, 18 Christopher, Ryan and Timothy Donovan; she was preceded in 19 death by her husband of 56 years on January 17, 2002, Dr. 20 William H. Donovan; therefore, be it 21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 23 all who knew her, the death of Pearle C. Donovan of Aurora, 24 Illinois; and be it further 25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 26 presented to the family of Pearle C. Donovan with our sincere 27 condolences.
