92_SR0357 LRB9216413BHbh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 3 to learn of the death of George Gegeran of Aurora, who passed 4 away February 20, 2002; and 5 WHEREAS, Mr. Gegeran was born March 18, 1920, in Romania; 6 and 7 WHEREAS, Mr. Gegeran was a member of St. George Romanian 8 Byzantine Church and former officer of the Men's Auxiliary 9 Club; Mr. Gegeran served in the United States Army; and 10 WHEREAS, George and his wife of 59 years enjoyed over 30 11 summers at their residence in Otter Trail, Minnesota, a 12 favorite gathering site of his friends and family; and 13 WHEREAS, Mr. Gegeran will be deeply missed by all those 14 who knew him and loved him, especially his loving daughter, 15 Mary Carole (Stan) Parks; his beloved grandson, Bradley 16 Parks; and his many nieces and nephews, including Carole 17 (John) Frunzar; therefore, be it 18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 20 his friends and family, the passing of George Gegeran of 21 Aurora; and be it further 22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 23 presented to his family with our sincere condolences.
