92_SR0293 LRB9212729RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Robert "Bob" E. Nagel, who passed away on December 18, 5 2001; and 6 WHEREAS, Robert Nagel was born on August 20, 1924 in 7 Wheaton, Illinois to Anton and Agnes Nagel; and 8 WHEREAS, Mr. Nagel was was a member and former director 9 of the Kane County Farm Bureau, the Northern Farm Service, 10 and the Kane County FSA Board; and 11 WHEREAS, Mr. Nagel was an active member of Holy Angels 12 Church, serving as an usher, and was a member of the Loyal 13 Order of the Moose Local 400; in addition, Mr. Nagel and his 14 wife, Mary Jane, were members of the Kane County Couples 15 Club, two card clubs, and a picnic group; and 16 WHEREAS, Mr. Nagel loved farming and working with his 17 John Deere Machinery until his retirement in 1998; he enjoyed 18 watching and playing all sports, his first love being 19 baseball and the Chicago Cubs; and 20 WHEREAS, The passing of Robert Nagel will be deeply felt 21 by all who knew and loved him, especially his loving wife of 22 53 years, Mary Jane; his daughters, Cindy (Bob) Strasser, 23 Diane (Brian) Lange, Sharon (John) Whitt, and Judy (Brendon) 24 Conley; his grandchildren, Heidi and Heather Strasser, 25 Allison, Michael, and Daniel Whitt, Aidan Conley, and Jim 26 (Ali) Lange; his sisters, Agnes Tansley and Lorraine Tansley; 27 his brother, Art (Mary) Nagel, his sister-in-law, Ollie 28 Nagel; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it 29 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 31 all who knew him, the death of Robert Nagel of Sugar Grove, -2- LRB9212729RHrh 1 Illinois; and be it further 2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 3 presented to the family of Robert Nagel with our sincere 4 condolences.
