92_SR0282 LRB9211324RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Fred H. Steiner, who passed away on December 10, 2001; and 5 WHEREAS, Fred H. Steiner was born on April 13, 1913 in 6 Chesterfield, Illinois to Henry and Matilda Groppel Steiner; 7 he married Marcille Baines on August 10, 1941 in 8 Farmersville; and 9 WHEREAS, Mr. Steiner graduated from Bunker Hill High 10 School and attended Purdue University; and 11 WHEREAS, Mr. Steiner was a United States Navy World War 12 II veteran, serving as an electrician; and 13 WHEREAS, Mr. Steiner was employed with the Carlinville 14 Post Office, retiring after 28 years; and 15 WHEREAS, Mr. Steiner was a member of St. Paul United 16 Church of Christ, Guy Baird American Legion Post #554, and 17 Carlinville Elks Lodge #1412; he was a past member of the 18 Carlinville Lions Club and past Worshipful Master of the 19 Masons; and 20 WHEREAS, The passing of Fred H. Steiner will be deeply 21 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, 22 Marcille Steiner; his son, David (wife, Janet) Steiner; his 23 daughter, Ann Steiner; his grandson, Quinn (wife, Jill) 24 Steiner; and his great-granddaughters, Morgan Steiner and 25 Corinne Steiner; therefore, be it 26 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 28 all who knew him, the death of Fred H. Steiner of 29 Carlinville, Illinois; and be it further 30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be -2- LRB9211324RHrh 1 presented to the family of Fred H. Steiner with our sincere 2 condolences.
