92_SR0259 LRB9210990RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Doris Jean Hickman Triplett, who passed away on October 5 17, 2001; and 6 WHEREAS, Doris Jean Hickman Triplett was born on November 7 17, 1944 in Louisville, Mississippi to Tom Lee and Rose 8 Hickman; she was united in Holy Matrimony on June 8, 1963 to 9 the late Ernest Earl Triplett; and 10 WHEREAS, Mrs. Triplett received her formative education 11 in Noxapater, Mississippi and attended Noxapater High School; 12 and 13 WHEREAS, She accepted Christ at an early age and united 14 with the Oak Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church in 15 Louisville, Mississippi; and 16 WHEREAS, Mrs. Triplett was employed at the Eagle and, 17 most recently, with the Southern Illinois University's 18 Headstart program; and 19 WHEREAS, The passing of Doris Jean Hickman Triplett will 20 be deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her 21 children, Billie Earl (wife, Amy) Triplett, Tony Lamar (wife, 22 Renee) Triplett, Charles Lamont (wife, Jeanette) Triplett, 23 James Demetrius Triplett, TreMeka LaDoris (Levert Conway) 24 Triplett, Broderick Javon (wife, Stacy) Triplett, and 25 Toinnette Shanee Triplett; her sisters, Christine Jernigan, 26 Jean (husband, Obie) Anderson, Irutha (husband, Walter) 27 Triplett, Lou Bertha May, and Laverne Hickman; her 12 28 grandchildren; her special cousin, Ella (husband, Theopplis) 29 Smith; her sister-in-law, Geniva Hickman; and a host of 30 nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; therefore, be it 31 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL -2- LRB9210990RHrh 1 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 2 all who knew her, the death of Doris Jean Hickman Triplett of 3 East St. Louis, Illinois; and be it further 4 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 5 presented to the family of Doris Jean Hickman Triplett with 6 our sincere condolences.
