92_SR0258 LRB9210991RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Rita Chambrale "Ladybug" Redd, who passed away on March 4, 5 2001; and 6 WHEREAS, Rita Chambrale Redd was born on July 25, 1965 in 7 East St. Louis, Illinois to Rita and Jesse Redd, Jr.; and 8 WHEREAS, Ms. Redd received her education at Jefferson 9 Elementary School, Lansdown Junior High School, and Lincoln 10 Senior High School; in addition, she attended State Community 11 College; and 12 WHEREAS, Ms. Redd was employed as a "change girl" with 13 the Casino Queen; she was a member of the Friendship Baptist 14 Church; and 15 WHEREAS, Ms. Redd made a lasting impression on the lives 16 of so many people; she will forever be remembered for her 17 outgoing personality and limitless generosity; and 18 WHEREAS, The passing of Rita Chambrale Redd will be 19 deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her 20 child, Ortega Mitchell; her mother, Rita Conrad; her father 21 Jesse (wife, Verna) Redd, Jr.; her sisters, Sharon Lowry 22 Dent, Jessica Redd, and Chandra Redd; her brothers, Ortega 23 Redd and Jarik (wife, Adrienne) Conrad; her nieces, Chandria 24 Redd, Shelondra Turner, and Marla Browder; her nephews, 25 Miquel Dent, Sean (wife, Marquia) Dent, and Marlon Browder; 26 her aunts, Toreatha Davis, Geraldine Redd, Cleoria Stokes, 27 Armee Young, Yvonne Campbell, Lorna Cason, and Alica Cason; 28 her uncles, Raymond (wife, Doris) Cason, Bobby Redd, Billy 29 Redd, Jerome Redd, and Albert (wife, Mary) Redd; her special 30 friends, Sharon Adams and Sylvia O'Neal; and a host of 31 godchildren, friends, relatives, and cousins; therefore, be -2- LRB9210991RHrh 1 it 2 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 3 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 4 all who knew her, the death of Rita Chambrale Redd; and be it 5 further 6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 7 presented to the family of Rita Chambrale Redd with our 8 sincere condolences.
