92_SR0250 LRB9210743RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Paul Brangenberg, who passed away on October 1, 2001; and 5 WHEREAS, Paul Brangenberg was born on May 7, 1909 in 6 Kampsville, Illinois to Joseph and Dina Brangenberg; he 7 married the former Elaine Bunch on August 31, 1944 in Alton; 8 and 9 WHEREAS, After graduating from Blackburn College in 10 Carlinville, Mr. Brangenberg taught in several one-room 11 schools in North Calhoun; he recently worked as a grain and 12 livestock farmer; and 13 WHEREAS, Mr. Brangenberg was a member of the First 14 Presbyterian Church of Kampsville; and 15 WHEREAS, In addition to his farming, Mr. Brangenberg was 16 an orchardist and served as a milk inspector in Rockford; and 17 WHEREAS, The passing of Paul Brangenberg will be deeply 18 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, 19 Elaine Brangenberg; his son, Dale H. (wife, Janet) 20 Brangenberg; his grandchild, Craig W. (wife, Angie) 21 Brangenberg; his great-grandchildren, Snydney and Garrett 22 Brangenberg; his sister, Nellie Richter; and his nieces and 23 nephews; therefore, be it 24 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 25 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 26 all who knew him, the death of Paul Brangenberg of 27 Kampsville, Illinois; and be it further 28 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 29 presented to the family of Paul Brangenberg with our sincere 30 condolences.
