92_SR0246 LRB9210731RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Richard H. Pierceall, who passed away on July 4, 2001; and 5 WHEREAS, Richard H. Pierceall was born on January 2, 1923 6 in West Plains, Missouri; he was a World War II veteran 7 serving as a Naval Chief Petty Officer; and 8 WHEREAS, Mr. Pierceall was a professional Country Club 9 Manager who resided with his family in Springfield, Aurora, 10 and Arlington Heights before retiring to Arizona in 1998; and 11 WHEREAS, A generous and compassionate man, Richard 12 Pierceall was witty and had a genuine sense of humor; and 13 WHEREAS, The passing of Richard H. Pierceall will be 14 deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his 15 wife, Katherine Pierceall; his children, Sandra (husband, Al) 16 Potter, Richard Pierceall, Michael (wife, Kathy) Pierceall, 17 Colleen (husband, Mark) McKay, Mary Pierceall (Joseph 18 Sachen), Kathleen Battaglia, Cynthia (husband, William) 19 Eaton, Michelle (husband, Anthony) Kasper, and Teresa 20 Pierceall; his grandchildren, Michael, John, and Adam 21 Grijalva, Brandy Wegman, Ryan and Melissa Pierceall, Jessica 22 and Amanda Battaglia, Shaun and Carrie Eaton, Monica and 23 Megan Kasper, and Taylor Bud; and his great-grandchildren, 24 Kristen and Michael; therefore, be it 25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 27 all who knew him, the death of Richard H. Pierceall of Apache 28 Junction, Arizona; and be it further 29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 30 presented to the family of Richard H. Pierceall with our 31 sincere condolences.
