92_SR0239 LRB9210724RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Joan Marie Popp, who passed away on October 4, 2001; and 5 WHEREAS, Joan Marie Popp was born on February 2, 1945 in 6 Aurora, Illinois to Michael and Mary Moldovan Popp; and 7 WHEREAS, Joan Marie Popp was employed by Amoco for 20 8 years until her retirement in 1994 and was currently employed 9 by Protocol Communications; and 10 WHEREAS, Joan Marie Popp was a member of St. Michael 11 Church in Aurora; in addition, she was and avid gardener and 12 baker; and 13 WHEREAS, The passing of Joan Marie Popp will be deeply 14 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her brother, 15 Daniel Popp; her nephew, Steven Popp; her special friend, 16 Catherine Delara; her uncle, Steve (wife, June) Moldovan; and 17 her several cousins; therefore, be it 18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 20 all who knew her, the death of Joan Marie Popp of Aurora, 21 Illinois; and be it further 22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 23 presented to the family of Joan Marie Popp with our sincere 24 condolences.
