92_SR0079 LRB9208485RHrh 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends 4 of Irvin E. Vance of Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on 5 March 2, 2001; and 6 WHEREAS, Irvin E. Vance was born on January 5, 1921 in 7 Aurora, Illinois to Irvin E. and Mary Vance; and 8 WHEREAS, Mr. Vance served in the United States Air Force 9 for twenty-three years until his retirement in 1964; he then 10 worked for the Illinois Secretary of State's office for 11 seventeen years until his retirement in 1980; and 12 WHEREAS, Mr. Vance was a member of the Loyal Order of 13 Moose Lodge #400 in Aurora, the Tiger Club, the Montgomery 14 V.F.W. Post #7452, and the Fox Valley Military Retirees Club; 15 and 16 WHEREAS, The passing of Irvin E. Vance will be deeply 17 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, 18 Lenora "Lynn" Vance; his sons, Terry E. (wife, Tana) Vance 19 and Dennis D. (wife, Denise) Vance; his four grandchildren; 20 and his four great-grandchildren; therefore, be it 21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL 22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 23 all who knew him, the death of Irvin E. Vance of Aurora, 24 Illinois; and be it further 25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 26 presented to the family of Irvin E. Vance with our sincere 27 condolences.
