92_SB2390enr SB2390 Enrolled SRA92S0338NBlb 1 AN ACT regarding appropriations. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. "An Act regarding appropriations", Public Act 5 92-538, approved June 10, 2002, is amended by adding Section 6 24 to Article 1 and by changing Section 25 of Article 1 as 7 follows: 8 (P.A. 92-538, Article 1, Section 24 new) 9 Sec. 24. The amount of $4,528,000, or so much of that 10 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 11 Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for deposit into 12 the School District Emergency Financial Assistance Fund. 13 (P.A. 92-538, Article 1, Section 25) 14 Sec. 25. The following amounts, or so much of those 15 amounts as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects 16 and purposes named, are appropriated to the Illinois State 17 Board of Education for Grants-In-Aid and loans: 18 From the General Revenue Fund: 19 For orphanage tuition claims and State owned 20 housing claims as provided under Section 21 18-3 of the School Code...................... $13,988,200 22 For financial assistance to Local 23 Education Agencies for the 24 Philip J. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 7 becoming law.
