1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated
6 to the Court of Claims for its ordinary and contingent
7 expenses:
8 CLAIMS ADJUDICATION
9 Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
10 For Personal Services........................... $ 970,500
11 For State Contribution to State
12 Employees' Retirement System................ 100,200
13 For Employee Retirement Contributions
14 Paid by Employer............................ 38,800
15 For State Contribution to Social
16 Security.................................... 74,200
17 For Contractual Services........................ 25,000
18 For Travel...................................... 14,200
19 For Commodities................................. 6,400
20 For Printing.................................... 5,000
21 For Equipment................................... 9,000
22 For Telecommunications Services................. 5,500
23 For Reimbursement for Incidental
24 Expenses Incurred by Judges................... 35,300
25 Total $1,284,100
26 Section 10. The amount of $239,000, or so much thereof
27 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Court of Claims
28 Administration and Grant Fund to the Court of Claims for
29 administrative expenses under the Crime Victims Compensation
30 Act.

1 Section 13. The amount of $750,000, or so much of that
2 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
3 Revenue Fund to the Court of Claims for payment of awards
4 solely as a result of the lapsing of an appropriation
5 originally made from any funds held by the State Treasurer.
6 Section 15. The following named amounts, or so much
7 thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Court of
8 Claims for payment of claims as follows:

10 Compensation Act:

13 For claims other than Crime Victims:
14 Payable from the General

20 Revolving Fund.............................. 50,000
21 Payable from the Traffic and
22 Criminal Conviction Surcharge Fund.......... 100,000
23 Payable from the Vocational
24 Rehabilitation Fund......................... 125,000
25 Total $42,775,000
26 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
27 1, 2002.
