1 AN ACT concerning the elderly.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of State Police Law of the
5 Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding
6 Section 2605-575 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 2605/2605-575 new)
8 Sec. 2605-575. Elder abuse and neglect investigations.
9 Subject to appropriations and available grants, the
10 Department, through the Division of Operations, shall provide
11 assistance to local law enforcement investigating alleged
12 violations of the Elder Abuse and Neglect Act.
